A genuine pleasure to useThis ratchet set is honestly so nice to use.The reverse pressure is super low so your screws/bolts don’t need to have much resistance for this to start working, and it feels like it’s built really well.Especially for the price, and the huge range of size fittings you get (and adapters so it can take other size fittings), this is definitely a good buy!

Perfect for my needsWanted a small socket set, for occasional use, after ‘lending’ (and thus losing) my last one. My car battery starting to struggle in the cold weather forced a bit of a rushed purchase and plumped for this, along with a set of Silverline extension rods, which this kit doesn’t include. A little under £25 for the lot. Bargain!Wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality but I have been pleasantly surprised. This thing has had plenty of use since and it’s sailed through everything I’ve asked of it flawlessly.It’s compact and bijoux, has a decent range of socket bits, which seat very securely and, importantly, can accommodate 1/4 and 3/8 fittings.Don’t expect to be changing your car’s wheels with it, but if you need to change car batteries, adjust bike seats, tackle awkward assembly/disassembly jobs, etc., this is an excellent tool.Wholeheartedly recommended!

Sturdy and usefulIt’s hard to imagine life before owning a socket set.How did I adjust the handlebars on the bike? Or quickly get that bit of the IKEA armchair attached? Or add those steps on to the climbing frame?This socket set is well made and has all the usual small sizes you’d expect in metric and imperial. The caveat is that the sizes don’t go very big, so for many jobs you will find you want a bigger socket set.The other negative is that the sockets don’t wedge firmly into their positions, so if it’s knocked when the box is open then they can fall out. But a minor gripe.
