Gjp Lewis –
Very handy indeed.I’ve not used it much but when I did, it performed exactly as I hoped. It will fit in a large pocket and could obviously go on a tool belt or in a holster, so it’s always right there. It’s small enough to use in tight spaces and is sharp. In my opinion it does not compete with a small battery chainsaw, but then I don’t imagine it is intended to.

Is cheap, but does the jobThis is cheap and I was a bit weary about buying it. I used it to cut a bedframe up with and it did the job no problem. I can say for anything tougher as this is all I have used it for.
MR CHRISTOPHER J SAICH –
Great little handsawI bought this for cutting up the Christmas tree. It usually takes time and effort, but with this saw I had all cut up and in the garden bin within 20 minutes.Great little tool and will be using again this summer for the brambles in our garden.

absolute bargainbought this last march, used it throughout the summer on a badly overgrown garden. on everything from ivy to 4 or 5 inch thick tree branches and it performed faultlessly. still sharp as ever and no signs it’s gonna break anytime soon. so will be used again this summer.
BatMan –
Sharp blade and sharp looksThis is a good product. It folds away neatly, has a strong and sharp cutting blade and is easy to hold and use.Worth the money and ideal for the smaller cutting jobs.

SHAE –
they do work!!I first tried them yesterday, and, at first, could not cut through. But went to another hedge and, after a few attempts, finally got the hang of it! I have arthritis so was a bit worried would not be able to use. Some of branches quite thick so was surprised able to cut them, took a while (as not got strength in hands)Well worth the money. Be careful when opening and closing until you get used to them. Definitely keep out of reach of children and pets

Not for those witharthritic hands or those with dexterity problems. Mine arrived but looked as if it had been out of its packing previously, so maybe a returned item, however the item seems in perfect order. This is hand sized i.e. when folded can go in your pocket. The reason I have given this three stars only is due to the safety aspect. Yes it is securely locked when folded, which is a plus factor. However, I have extreme difficulty in undoing the blade to be able to use it, without either cutting my fingers or evern snapping closed the blade over my finger, which could cut it off. It takes me a few minutes to get it open, and now I wear thick gloves as a precaution. It seems cackhanded the way you have to press and open, and there are no instructions as to how this is easily done safely. The teeth on it are quite long, and I use it using a draw action as opposed to sawing back and forth.Update : Two years on, strangely I have received a number of emails from several different people purporting to be the Sellers of this product asking me to remove my post by visiting Amazon links stating they will refund me 11.00 if I do so, the last person offered 26.00 to remove my review. Since I go by other people’s reviews before purchasing I expect any reviews to be honest, whether good or bad. Thus when I review something I say exactly how I found an item. As there are many people whom have dexterity problems, and as one such, I am of the view that people need to be aware of any potential problems from a safety angle. Whether or not these ‘requests’ from the ‘Seller’ are authentic as opposed to a scam, my reaction is that if the Seller was unhappy with my review why did they not contact me at the time, instead of two years later. Frankly, I am dubious but in any event remain true to my original post. As an author selling Kindle/paperbacks on Amazon, authors are not allowed to have star ratings removed and neither can friends or family make reviews. One has to accept 1 star reviews from people who attempt to kill your novel, as one did of one of mine. A whole years work for nothing as a 1star killed that particular novel.
