Super Machine Love ItVery simple to put together though I wound the hose in the opposite direction as suited were I positioned the machine. Have only used on my car and the selection of jets is cool. Plenty of power and can see this clearing my drive with ease come April.My only niggle is trying to find an adaptor that will accept my SnowFoam machine for now I still use my other pressure washer for this until I figure it out.

WARRANTY19 November 2021 so am I correct that it is still covered in the warranty as It has developed a fault in that the shut-off valve has failed and has to be shut down from the on off button

Good, but due to design flaws it could have been so much better.First let me state that this product is heavy at around 26kg, so lugging it around is hard work. The Pressure worked fine first time out of the box (nice auto shut off when not dispensing water (positive)) but within a few minutes I noticed a few design flaws that could have been so much easily rectified and hence would have gotten more stars! The product I am reviewing is the 550i, I went for the most powerful unit as I thought, well why not, it must be better than a lower pressure (and cheaper) washer unit? However I have to be honest after using an old power devil pressure washer, I wasn’t convinced that the new one actually had anymore power than my 20 year old one! (that was £19.99 in Halfords). This isn’t the biggest bug bear however, the spray nozzle has handy quick release system so that you can change from wide angle spray through to direct spray (a variable turnable nozzle like my old Power devil unit had would have sufficed though), however this is the only thing that is quick release! Everything else has to be screwed and unscrewed into the main gun, such as the car washer parts. This quickly became tedious when you want to swap between the sprayer, circular brush and the straight brush, each time having to screw and unscrew the accessory (this isn’t as easy as it sounds due to the design of the screw)! Why couldn’t these have been quick release as well? Seems like a flawed design. Alongside this, the detergent bottle is awkward to fill and really needs a funnel due to its placement on the bottom side of the product. When pouring from a 5 ltr tub of car foam liquid, at least 10% went on the floor because you couldn’t angle the bottle correctly to get it into the pressure washer bottle (a guage to see how much was in / left in the detergent bottle would have been a bonus as its inside the unit and therefore not visable)! It might have been me doing something wrong as well, but I could only get this to foam when using the car brushes, not the spray jet (for which the snow foam is designed to be used with)! The accessory storage holes also fill with water as there is no drain hole and so when swapping the accessory over when washing my car, at the end I had to tip the whole unit on its side to empty the water out of the storage holes! As I said, this could have been a great washer but due to some serious design flaws I am only giving it three stars! Sadly! I would recommend, but beware of the seriously flawed design!

Well engineered but not as powerful as K4There are pros and cons of this machine.On the plus side it has a sturdy feel and looks well engineered. It comes with a host of attachments, including a very long hose reel, and a 2nd long hose to extend its reach. This means you can wash a long way from the nearest electric socket.These good points also contribute to its limitations. It very heavy, so difficult to lift over kerbs.The long hose may be the reason the pressure feels low compared to the K4. It is certainly a lot less effective at removing lichen and seaweed from a slipway than the Karcher.The hose reel is fiddly to use as the handle is too small to get a grip on.The connectors are scew threaded brass or aluminium, which means a water tight connection. However, because of the tiny overlap, it can be difficult and time consuming to connect attachments.Probably the best feature are the various nozzle attachments, which are easy to push on.Overall, a well made and comprehensivemachine, but fiddly to use, and disappointing in its effectiveness.
