Wera Joker Combination Ratchet Spanner Set, Metric,11pc, 05020013001
Everything a wrench has to be able to do. And a whole lot more. The Joker performs fastening jobs in almost every conceivable situation, with great precision. It’s unique features include a holding function, a limit stop, 30⁰ return angle for restricted access, anti-slip reinforced jaw and an ultra-fine high torque ratchet end.
Unique holding function, thanks to the metal plate in the jaw, eliminates the risk of dropping nuts and bolts. This metal plate securely holds nuts and bolts in the jaw, allowing the user to position them where needed. Fastening on the thread can then be done quickly and safely, thanks to the innovative special limit-stop plate which holds the fastener. No longer is the thumb needed to act as a depth stop! Clever double-hex geometry provides a positive connection onto nuts and bolts. The combination of this geometry and a hardened gripping plate in the Joker’s jaw, makes for a perfect fit – this prevents slipping off locked or broken nuts, even at higher torque.
Both the double-hex geometry and Joker’s straight head design work in sync to half the return angle, from 60° to 30°. This makes flipping off the wrench a thing of the past, and makes working in awkward spaces an ease. On the ratchet end, an exceptional, 80 fine-tooth ratchet mechanism provides greater flexibility, especially useful in confined spaces.
Manufactured from high performance chrome-molybdenum steel with a nickel-chrome coating, for high corrosion protection and extreme strength. Take it easy tool finder: colour coding for fast and simple selection of the required size. This 11 piece set is stored in a robust, roll-up pouch.

Superb QualityI work in the power industry and rely on quality tools. Wera tools are a go to for myself and my colleagues. The organisation is a real time save at the start, during and at the end of the job.Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Hard as nails.Joker is the best in the business and I’ve always had a great experience with them. All ratchet spanners are fantastic and build solid. They can be pricey but well worth the money. Go for it.

This product is the best worth for professionalsThis spanner set is made of first class quality steel. It is not gonna bend, or wear out, rather it will snap, if exerted to extreme force.Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t snapped any of them over a year and a half of usage. When I say usage, I really use them without any attention to whether I damage them, or not. They have been used under extreme conditions so far and they are still the same as they were upon taking them out of the case for the first time. When someone considers buying these, it is worth noting that they are straight and some other spanners with an angle on both ends would be much more comfortable to use, especially in awkward areas. However, the nut holding fuction of its design has prooven to be usefull many times.I use the set in combination with my other set of spanners from Beta. With the 2 sets no job is too hard.

Good to a degreeFor light general work it is fine, I’ve had mine now for nearly a year now and they have there uses, but not for everything. I strip and build/maintain industrial gas engines, so I use them a lot. The ratchet end is fine, no probs there. However the open end is the problem, for normal spanner work they are not great, the nuts slip in the open end or they twist and jam on the grippy sides, not ideal. I have gone back to a normal open end spanner now and only use the wera open end if I have to hold the nut in a difficult position, without the nut falling out, that is what the open end does fantastically, holding a nut downwards at an angle it’s is brilliant. The black metal plate for the nut in normal use has now bent out of shape, because it grips and won’t let go and I could not get the spanner off constantly. So for everyday use:industrial use: ratchet – perfect, open end – for difficult situations only for nut holding ability – open end normal use get another normal spanner.DIY/home use: good all round combination spanner

Excellent quality and nice to use.I bought these to replace a set of venerable old ratchet spanners. So far my experience is positive. They come in a textile tool roll with a pocket for each spanner which keeps them separate, easy to find, and so they don’t touch each other in transit/storage. The tools themselves are very nicely balanced, and are a good shape to grip comfortably. The “nut holder” function works well, and is a great idea. The ratchets have a very positive “click” and don’t slip.I’m not a professional user, so don’t use these every day, and so far I’m very pleased with them. The only downside is the slightly eye-watering price, but here I think you get what you pay for, and Amazon’s pricing was very keen.
