Kraftform Plus 100 Series VDE Screwdrivers
Wera Kraftform Plus VDE screwdrivers undergo a dielectric strength test under a 10,000-volt load in a water bath to reassure users that their screwdrivers have been exhaustively tested for their most important feature; their insulation. Each individual Wera VDE screwdriver is subjected to this test to ensure safe working up to 1,000 volts in accordance with EN 60900:2012. Wera’s famous ergonomic Kraftform handle. Like no other, the Kraftform handle is shaped to perfectly fit the hand for the best possible screwdriving experience. The multi-component design features hard zones for rapid working speeds and also softer gripping zones that provides high torque transfer and extreme comfort during intensive use. Wera’s Kraftform handle – makes blisters and calluses a thing of the past.
Lasertip anti-cam out technology “bites” into the screw head creating a perfect fit, preventing any slipping out of the recess and reducing the contact pressure required when working. Lasertip makes screwdriving safer and easier.
Take it easy tool finder at the base of the handle uses colour coding in accordance to profile and size, for fast and easy selection of the required tool. High quality “bit material” blade ensures extreme wear resistance and a long service life of the tool.

High Quality ScrewdriversI am an Electrical Tech by trade and I decided to purchase this set of Wera Kraftform VDE 1000v screwdrivers to replace my worn out set, as I get through a full set of drivers about every 2 to 3 years and with the previous named brand I had to replace the cross head Posidriv drivers about three times throughout the life of the set.In the electrical trade cross head screws are the most commonest screws in use and hence the Posidriv screwdriver is the most used, the problem with these drivers is that when they become worn they can cam out on the screws and wear the screws square edges and the result is that you cannot tighten these screws to the correct torque.I had previously read about these drivers with the premium gold lasertip and the fact that they bite into the screw head and reduce slippage and screw wear through cam out. Well I am glad to report that these drivers are superior to any screw driver that I have ever used. They actually do bite into screw heads without causing any damage and you can tighten screws with little effort. The slotted drivers bite onto the screws just as the Posidriv’s do and with no slippage and cam out at all.I have been using these drivers for over three months now and there is very little sign of wear, they are also extremely comfortable to use and I also purchased some additional larger slotted drivers to add to the set. I find that if all your drivers have the same type of handle and grip from the smallest to the biggest there is better continuity when using several drivers and these are very comfortable and ergonomic to use, I will certainly be buying Wera drivers from now on as they are very good value for money.

Better than expectationsIm fairly new to wera, but ive had a load of terrible screwdrivers in the past. I read the great reviews about these screwdrivers and ordered a set, they are fantastic, the lasertip isnt a gimmick it really does cling onto the screwhead much better than normal screwdrives, and with the good shape of handle i can turn the screws in much tighter which is handy round the shed, the fact that these are insulated is another benefit, only one of the flat headed screwdrivers hasnt got a lasertip edge but its still not a bad tool. There is even a phase tester included which works well and has a good blade although no lasertip, it feels much harder than normal phase testers.A rack comes with the screwdrivers, i had it up in my shed in a few seconds 2 screws hold it in place, and it holds the screwdrivers very neatly, the tops even make sure the scredrivers sit up straight so they are really easy to remove.to conclude the quality of the screwdriver heads are in a class of their own especially with the lasertip, and there is more than enough screwdrivers included to do all the diy jobs about the house.

The bestOnce you buy a set of Wera screwdrivers with ground tips, you will never go back i promise you. I’ve made a right hash of screws with cheaper screwdrivers in the past and even expensive ones. But tips on these just become one with the screw, sent by the gods it seems at times.Yeah, you’ll throw that screwdriver holder in the bin (unless you’re a DIYer) but I would pay full price just for those pozi heads.Full VDE so perfect for wiring etc without risk of shockYou can smack them like hell with a hammer and they don’t break (depending on your hammer, chiseldrivers by wera are a good option also)Honestly just buy them, you won’t regret it when you use them

UnbeatableThese screwdrivers really are a cut above my previous set which were made by Draper and broke within days of regular use. The laser-etched tips really do improve the bite on the screwhead and reduce the cam out dramatically, whilst the handles have excellent grip and are comfortable during prolonged use. I mainly bought them because I needed some decent pozi tipped screwdrivers and the price was unbeatable at half the rrp of all the diy sheds and online shops. The holder is adequate if you want to mount them on your shed wall, but if you’re a sparky you’re unlikely to be impressed and won’t have need for it, horses for courses really and certainly not a criticism. The phase tester is more robust than the usual cheapies I have in my toolbox, just remember that you shouldn’t rely on it or you may fry for it!All in all these represent superb value and Wera are without doubt the best screwdrivers on the market.

The best screwdrivers everI have a set of these in my main tool box that have been used and abused daily for about 8years. They are the nicest screwdrivers I have ever owned. They grip awkward screws well and can remove them so so much easier than other makes. I highly recommend these. They are also comfortable to use and because of The handle design they can’t roll away

A Great setYep, Great ‘grip’ at tip ends and in your hands too. ‘Wera’ do bring out some great tools. I can see these will give me great service in years to come, may had down to my lads too. Does come at a cost but certainly worth the investment.
