Difficulty in ordering replacement partsI used this blower for clearing leaves etc from garden. Happy with it. Battery life is roughly 15 mins …..bought an extra battery for continuity of use. Battery charger stopped working so ordered replacement. There seems to be a difficulty as I am still waiting for it.

Extremely noisy leaf blowerIn general this leaf blower is a great find, it is lightweight easy to use and manoeuvre. The only negative aspects are that at the time of purchase it is better to buy a second battery if you have a larger area to cover as the battery will last no more than 15 to 20 min max. Secondly, I found it very extremely noisy so am confused as why the reviews and product description describe this with low noise. It certainly isn’t so the advice here is you will need to be mindful the time of day you are using it so not to disturb the neighbours i.e. sunday mornings.

Great value for moneyIf you have other Von Haus battery operated equipment i.e have spare batteries then this is a great product. It does run through the batteries incredibly quickly, maybe 10 mins on constant power. It is well powered, you just need to get the angle right and try not to wiggle it about just slowly walk along keeping the blower relatively still. I have a 400ft garden and this keeps the grass in good condition by removing leaves and debris from the main lawn. Also very useful for blowing leaves out of rockeries and beds as it doesn’t move the stones or bark. Great for patios and driveways etc and actually because it is electric when I first got it I opened all the windows and doors in the house and used it indoors for a deep clean, it was magnificent.

Very Useful – had to fix the stuck (jammed) on/off switchI find this very useful, it is my second having bought one for a relative and now having this one as a replacement for a similar but different (earlier) model of my own that failed after a year, a very hassle-free replacement by DOMU (thank you).Note that these small battery blowers do not have the power to shift wet large leaves off large lawns (well not without a lot of patience), but are ideal for clearing small hard areas around doorways and patios etc and for post-raking tidying up of larger areas.2020-11-15 Update: I tried to use the blower recently and the orange on/off wouldn’t move more than a mm or so, I had noticed it seemed a bit stiff before too. So I decided it was quicker and easier to have a look myself. The screws come out easily (PZ2 or maybe PZ1), the pair at the outlet are of one size, all the others are another (as I remember it, I had kept them all individually identified). There is a label to peel off, then the case halves can be separated with gentle persuasion (start doing that with the screws partially removed makes life less risky).I found that the orange “switch” is in fact just a slider with a wedge-shaped lug that presses down on the button of a micro-switch mounted perpendicular to the slider. It seems that there is simply too much friction when the wedge moves over the button and pushes it down, in fact the button had a surprisingly strong spring. It wasn’t clear to me what might have changed to account for the extra friction, but wanting to just get it working I scraped a candle on the wedge to get some wax on it and put it all back together and it works fine, for now at least.

Lovely and lightweightBeen wanting to buy a leaf blower for quite sometime and have been put it off thinking they were all heavy as any I tried in shops were always so heavy, I would struggle due to arthritis in my hands. Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This one arrived well boxed and within 1 minute of unpacking it, I was away blowing leaves from around pots on patio. The charger had 2 of 3 lights on already. It is so lightweight I don’t think i’ll ever need to use a garden broom again which was difficult on my hands. Within minutes the patio and the path to end of garden was leaf free. I’m uncertain on how long the charge takes to empty but the lights did not move. The best bit is it is cordless so by keeping the charger in spare drawer in doors, you can prepare the charge in advance. If you’re not sure about getting one, I would say ‘give this VonHaus one a go’. I wish I had done so before. Thanks VonHaus.

Easy to useVery useful to blow away those autumnal falls.. I am elderly and therefore find the standard blower a little heavy. This one is great. The charge gives one about 10mins of blow before requiring a charge. Fine for the small garden

Fits the job perfectlyWe ordered this item to help blow away leaves and petals from our artificial grass rather than going round picking each item up individually!Works a treat for what we have bought it for. Can’t comment on battery life as we use it for 5 mins a day, a week on the battery is still going strong!

Good for what it is, but don’t compare it to a corded leaf blower.Everything about this leafblower is as much as I could have hoped for in terms of features. The only two drawbacks are the lack of power and battery life (both of which you would expect from such a lightweight product). I find that it takes 2 batteries’ worth of charge to do my garden on a dry day, but if it’s been raining then it can really struggle to loosen any leaves that are stuck to the ground.
