One of my best purchases of 2022I tend to wait on writing reviews on purchases for a few months because I like to see how the items hold up. I’m pleased to say that this has exceeded my expectations.I’m a middle aged female with lots of little DIY projects on the go because family life is ever changing and something is always breaking in this old house of mine! I didn’t have a proper tool box, just a jumble of old random tools in a box and found that I was always muttering that I wish I had a spanner, screw driver etc. easily accessible. Well, now I do!This kit has had everything I’ve needed for all recent projects including: fix my leaking toilet, repair a fence panel, replace a door hinge, swap out picture frames, open my oven double glass for (for internal cleaning) open various kids battery boxes, swap a lamp plug, measure my driveway (for a delivery) put up a doorbell, hang a mirror, build a trundle bed and an ikea flat pack to list a few! I am telling you my projects so that people like minded will know what it’s been used for in my review because my idea of robust might not be everyone else’s idea of robust, but it’s been really great for me. The tools feel strong and sturdy, do the job well, and there hasn’t been any tool that I’ve needed that isn’t in the kit.Overall I am very, very pleased with this purchase and plan on buying more of them as Xmas gifts.I can’t fault the kit at all, my only challenge is the occasional ‘where does this click back to?’ as opening a tool makes it a different shape and I have to remember to revert them back to original shape before putting them away. That’s just me though, LOL, that isn’t the fault of the kit. They store beautifully. It’s really a well thought out, beautifully designed, sturdy set of quality tools. 10 out of 10 from me. Meg D

Everything you need in the toolbox!This is a great product and it has literally everything you need in a toolbox! You do not need to buy any other tools once we have this and everything is really good condition as well

Disappointed, overly positive reviews misleading.After some deliberation and comparing to similar kits on Amazon I bought this toolkit owning to the glowing reviews. Even though it was double the price compared to similar offerings. I was excited to receive what looked like a well designed assortment of tools. Unfortunately as soon as I unpacked the box, and the saw the quality of the case it’s self, my heart sank a little. Don’t get me wrong the design and presentation looks great, but I could tell straight away that the case itself was made of a pretty cheap plastic, with the clasps feeling like it wouldn’t take much for them to break off. Inside the tools, nicely presented and well laid out, but unfortunately on closer inspection lacking in quality themselves. The plastic molding feeling cheap, with mold lines still evident. The adjustable screwdriver felt worrying loose and again just ‘plasticky’. As did the rest of the tools. I was hoping to find a kit of tools that would be good enough to use alongside the ‘big brands’ on site at my work, yet it was immediately obvious that these wouldn’t be up to the job. Sure, if your looking to do some light DIY at home I’m sure these will suffice, just bear in mind you can get the same (most likely Chinese imported) toolset for half the price under other brands. It’s a shame because I believed the hype but it was more form over function. I returned the kit and invested in a Magnusson toolset and bag instead, which I know will last for many years.

Has all the parts neededThere are so many toolkits for sale on Amazon but many are missing some of the parts you really need. I wanted one with everything in one place. This has, amongst other things, a magnetic screwdriver with two sets of heads to fit basically every screw; tiny micro screwdrivers which you’re going to need at some point; those little Alan key L shaped things which keep being needed from time to time, a hammer, a tape measure… it also has a really nice set of wrenches which was a deal maker for me. A lot of sets don’t actually have wrenches. It also has pliers and a spirit level, a tape measure and a much more stiff. So it really covers all the bases.In terms of actual quality all the parts are pretty solidly made. They are strong and work well. They are all gripped reliably by the case which is also very sturdy. So nothing ever falls out or gets out of place.Unless you are a tradesman this is probably the one toolkit you need.

Brilliant value for money! Great price for the amount/quality of the tools included.Having used the Staunch toolbox for a number of weeks now I can happily say that it has gotten me out of a few jams with the amount of equipment that it comes with. I can say I am very happy with how they have held up and are intact of a high standard! Fantastic value for money, brilliant price for the amount and quality of tools! Before purchasing Staunch I had about 4/5 toolboxes which I was going back and forth between and this toolbox has everything you need in ONE place. If anyone is renovating a house like myself and my partner, this is a go to toolbox for you. The sockets are a god send and how it’s laid out calms my OCD for organised equipment 😍 10/10 would recommend.

Great all rounder tool kitArrived very quickly, really well packaged and couldn’t believe the variety of tools included for the price.I’m in no way a professional but I’m constantly doing little diy bits around the house and for standard round the house jobs it’s absolutely perfect – I had a mini tool kit before which was fine but I often found I didn’t have quite the right size for what I needed, definitely won’t have that problem any longer!Special mention for the moulded case because it just looks so much nicer than other toolkits I’ve seen on the market, a minor consideration compared to the tools but just makes a difference that it’s an attractive box!

Everything you need organised in one handy carry case!This tool set is exactly what I needed! We’ve been doing a lot of DIY recently, which previously meant multiple trips back and forth and searching through the messy box of tools in our utility room, which would usually end in frustration. Now, I just grab this case and every tool you could need is right there in front of you, all perfectly organised into their own little space. Each item is good quality, sturdy and comfortable to use, and just clicks back into place when you’re done. And there are so many pieces included, it’s ideal for almost any job and excellent value. I wish I’d found this set sooner, as I’ve probably spent more than this buying individual tools that haven’t lasted the short time I’ve had them. Every new home owner or keen DIY’er needs this. Really great kit!Ordered this product because I liked the idea of having a complete kit for all my household jobs that isn’t too bulky – It’s ideal! It’s very handy and easy to use – it’s got loads of things in it – more than expected. The tools are good quality as is the case. I’ve already used it for several jobs such as hanging pictures, a new mirror and putting furniture together. I like how there are extra blades in it for the stanley knife and the saw. I also like the variety of tools in the set – it really is great value. It’s well worth the money.
