Heavy, Chunky, Perfect!Don’t doubt it…this is a chunky piece of greatness! Delightfully heavy, smooth and fast on the gap dialling, and effortless against even stubborn metal in a mood! I love it!

Not badI’ve read some negative reviews about this wrench but overall I think it’s pretty good value for the money. Sure, the screw jaw has some play in it but then again a lot of adjustable wrenches suffer from this problem. After all for the money your paying it’s pretty good value and a useful tool for a lot of jobs about the house.

Earned it’s keep already.Glad I ordered this. Thought it was to big when I first saw it. Bought to help with changing a bottom bracket on my old bike and turned out I needed 35mm to remove the old bracket (this one opens to 39mm but the 250mm version only goes to 33mm so it would have left me stuck) and it worked a treat as these old brackets can be very tight but luckily, or maybe because of this tool, it loosened straight away without any fuss. It was also great for some strong leverage (which it made seem easy), that I needed with a 16mm crank removal tool when my small adjustable wrench just wasn’t enough or would have been a big struggle. I also used it at around 32mm to tighten the new bracket with the bracket tool and again no problems. So pretty much worked out perfectly for the job all round. I can ask no more in fact I’m very pleasantly surprised it worked so well as this is the first time I have done this type of bracket change and think that I would have had problems had I not had this great tool. I have to be happy and now I have it for other future jobs also.

Big boy spanner for vintage headsetsSignificantly larger but only 1.5cm wider in the jaw than my small adjustable wrench. This was bought to remove a stuck headset nut on a bike and it worked. The extra leverage is so useful and will be using this to pull cranks and other things like you wouldn’t believe. It does not however, remove a fixed cup on an old bottom bracket. Just falls off under any pressure and I slightly damaged the tool doing it.All in all its a big adjustable spanner that works.

Handy adjustable to have, not a substitute for a set of proper spannersHandy adjustable to have, not a substitute for a set of proper spanners, but better than not having something that fits. Handy accurate enough scale on side, approx half a millimetre play in jaws once set on mine. It’s a substantial piece of kit and will go up to a massive 40mm, not ideal for smaller fasteners as it is a bit clumsy due to its size. I always tighten it onto a fitting, this takes any movement out of the jaws and it does then feel very secure, and will take a good bit of force. Nicely finished and feels good quality, especially for the price.

    Big meaty wrenchJust yes !

  9. Danny

Great product!Unfortunately returned due to me not reading the description and seeing how big it was! Great product though felt sturdy and well built

  10. Amazone

Sturdy with almost a top ratingThis spanner feels strong and sturdy with a comfortable grip handle. There are inch markings on one side of the head and millimetres on the other with. A max opening of 40mm (plus a couple of mil).Although not quite rough enough to cut, it is a little sharp around the edges of the spanner head, hence the dropped star,
