The 19mm isn’t the correct size.19mm doesn’t fit a M12. It’s to big

Great portable set of spanners for working away from the garageI bought these for my son who is an enthusiastic amateur mechanic and is always very disorganised and losing tools. He already has loads of tools including spanners but can never find them when he needs them. Now he takes the roll out to the car, works on the job in hand, then puts the spanners back in the roll at the end. He has had this set of spanners 5 weeks now and hasn’t lost one yet – a new record 🙂 . So the roll is doing its job. And being Silverline the quality of the tools is good. He has done mainly suspension work, alignment etc and the tools are standing up fine. Would buy again (but hopefully that won’t be necessary).

Good quality and range of sizes.Good set of sizes. Seemed to be of good quality. I used a hammer on some of them to remove bottom wishbone struts on suspension of car and didnt break or round nuts. Have my own quality set of tools but as seems with all manufacturers they use odd sizes now which I didnt have and so bought these. Used to be 10mm, 13mm, 17mm and 22mm and you got them all covered. Who the fricking hell uses 15mm and 18mm which is what I needed.

Not bad for the moneyOthers have commented on the poor sizing of these spanners. I’ve tried a few of the more common sizes (13, 17, 19, 22 etc) and they don’t seem at all bad. Some are a little slack, but we’ve got snap-on spanners which are similarly slack.I’m a farmer – I want a set of cheap spanners with each tractor (handy in the event of needing them but unlikely to be stolen/not a major problem if they are) and these are ideal for the job.I’ve put a band of humbrol paint on each one to distinguish them from the other two sets I’m now going to buy. Also, the tool roll mine were supplied in is more robust than the one in the picture – it doesn’t have the clear window bits which are usually the first bits to split. In short, not the best quality in the world but the price is a tiny fraction of a Snap-On set so they’re an absolute bargain.

Fantastic,Fantastic, for the price got theses just to sort out a car and used a hammer on to of them, not even a mark on them really hard.
