Good cutters for ParacordBought these specifically for cutting 550 paracord, which they do nicely. Good sharp cut first time. Cutting edge big enough for 550 paracord. So much better than hacking at paracord with blunt scissors. See photos.

VERY SMALL OVERALL. REALLY SMALL FRAGILE CUTTING EDGESI write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of items such as this.I am a prime member, even so, delivery took five (5) working days which is not really a surprise as Amazons fast delivery claims went bye bye a long time ago.The cutters are small. The cutting head is very small. The spring type mechanism which completes the cutting leverage is small, a weak link and easy to break, likely to break if put under any pressure as needed to complete a cut.The cutters are small. I have size 10 UK hands for gloves. The cutters are akin to children’s safety scissors.I am used to using small sized tools for fine delicate modelling but these just are not comfortable. The small cutting head is a necessity because if tackling anything heavier than a very light, (as in 1mm or preferably less) they will very likely snap or break off at the cutting tips.Use on thin Soft solder wire and very light fuse type as above.I am using mine on fishing line so hope to be okay.I would not trust them on any form of garden wiring. They suit my needs for now but if I had been aware of how flimsy they are, especially at this cost I would have bought a single pair of mainstream cutters such as draper and kept some money in my pocket.OVERALL, not fit for wire cutting, much to flimsy.

Yer pays yer money blah-de-blah!You get what you pay for; not great and already showing pits and burrs on the cutting edges, despite only minimal use and pressure applied. I’ve used them to trim-up 8x 28mm white metal minis, as well as to cut some 0.75mm copper wire spears, and the cutting edge already looks slightly pitted and burred! They were only ever meant as a stop-gap purchase and will sufice until funds allow me to purchase a better (no doubt more expensive) set.
