Great starter hedge trimmer!This is the second Netta hedge trimmer I have bought but annoyingly was a smaller version. The first one had a hard life for 2 years before I replaced it . The price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend this make.

Tidied up my garden a treatI had great fun with this, I’ve got fern trees down one whole side of my garden and I hate them, they’re so tall they reach the roof! But they were here when I moved in and too big a job for me, however they were also growing well over the path and washing line so I bought this to cut them back off the path, it cut through every branch so easily, it was extremely satisfying and made such a difference, until I got all the way to the end when I cut through the cable! Which then tripped the electric in the kitchen! But at least you know it’s safe and cuts out automatically saving electric shocks and sticky up hair.

Smells burning when in useThe products smells like burning whilst it’s being used so cannot be used alot as worried it might set fire.

Good cutting performance for light weightHad for about a month now, cuts well on conifers, pyracantha, box hedges . The “brake” function has ceased to work (ie blades keep moving, slowing down after you release on switch) although not a serious issue.Quite pleased with it.

Use of itIt’s not as lightweight as it sounds and it’s okay works well but dose cut out at different angles.
