This is not a ‘fine tooth tenon saw as we know it!This is a medium point hardened saw stiffened by a back. It has a handle at a very peculiar angle which makes vision directly over the cut difficult. It is impossible to ‘push’ to cut fine cuts accurately. What it is is a general purpose saw for rough work.If you don’t want a cut exactly on the knife line then it will do, if high accuracy is important then get a finer saw with proper cross cut teeth. It’s only advantage is the reinforced ‘back’ which prevents ‘wander’ when doing rougher work like cutting stud battens when it is useful in maintaining a good straight cut.
