Hedge cutter no good at allStrimmer / chainsaw attachments are fine . Not happy at all with the hedge cutter as I’ve tried it on three different types of hedge and it won’t cut any of them . It just chews it rather than cutting it . Really need to send this part back for a replacement.

Good machine, would be better if all the parts were in the box.I bought this as i have a large garden and paddocks and wanted something that could handle tall hedge trimming as well as trimming of trees and clearing out thick overgrown brush. Overall i was quite impressed with the product, it was lighter than i thought with the strimming head on and was well balanced and easy to use. The bump feed system for the nylon is a nice feature and makes life much easier, especially when you have large areas to clear. Rather unfortunately the 3 bladed brushcutter was not included in the box of my delivery even though it is in the product description and pictures (the manual then lists it as an “optional” accessory) and my rating was subsequently marked down for this fact.When assembled with the hedge trimming attachment it is very end heavy ans slightly more difficult to use but that is to be expected with such a substantial blade on the end with the addition of it having an adjustable head. I was a little dissapointed that the intermediate shaft had a male/male spline, it would have been nice if the spline was male/female withe a male spline on the cutting head itself which would allow you to use the hedge trimmer without the intermediate shaft and would make it much easier to use for general short reach hedge trimming.It was nice to see that all required tools were included with the product and they also included a small bottle of 2 stroke oil with it for your first run (i would recommend buying a better quality oil than this going forward due to the amount of biofuel mixed into petrol these days) and included a mixing bottle as well so you can easily judge the right 40:1 fuel to oil mix. A shoulder strap is also included to help support the tool for prolonged use and although functional could be more comfortable and i opted to purchase a much better double shoulder strap with hip guard instead which is much more pleasant to use if you are working for prolonged periods.

I thought it was goodWell, so far so good. Put it all together but when looking at the supplied 2 stroke mixing bottle and instructions can’t see the level marked oil. Presumably it’s till until bottom part of the cap but not sure so am waiting for a proper mixing bottle arrives as I don’t want to ruin it with the wrong mix. Then I will adjust the review.Update 13/08 – Am returning it. Item not fit for purpose. After eventually getting a proper mixing bottle and using it, there are a few problems, firstly the engine cuts out randomly on idle. it cant seemto cope with the hedge trimmer attachment and you can almost nurse it to work but it cuts out often. It also cuts out if you open the throttle at all. Not sure if I was just unlucky or not but it will not stand up to my needs. I guess its the age old saying, you get what you pay for. I will now be getting individual products for specific tasks instead of a cheap do it all machine.

PerfectWe use this at the allotment. You have everything you need with this. Good quality, strong and sturdy. Easy to start and last along time on a tank of petrol. Attachments easy to put on and take off. We used this in a 12 pole allotment and only cost less than £5 in fuel. It took just over the hour. Buy it you won’t regret it.
