Makita DUC355PT2 Twin 18V (36V) Li-ion LXT 35cm Brushless Chainsaw complete with 2 x 5.0 Ah Batteries and Twin Port Charger
The DUC355PT2 cordless 35cm Brushless Chainsaw is powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery to supply energy to the powerful 36V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by trigger to enable to enable the user to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load.
The DUC355PT2 is capable of delivering up to 20 metres per second chain speed and 1,100 watts maximum output.
The DUC355PT2 is equipped with main power switch with auto power-off function and lock-off lever to prevent accidental start-up, electric chain brake and kickback brake for increased operator safety, adjustable automatic chain lubrication with a 200ml chain oil capacity with oil capacity display and large separate-type metal spike bumper. Makita BL1850B 18V 5.0 Ah Li-ion LXT Battery
The BL1850B 18V 5.0 Ah Li-ion LXT battery has a 4 stage LED battery fuel gauge indicator, works with current Li-ion chargers and has a 45 minute charge time on both Makita DC18RC and DC18RD chargers, and a 110 minute charge time on Makita DC18SD charger.
Lightweight, weighing no more than a 3.0 Ah Li-ion LXT battery, has a longer run time and battery life.
Multi-contact terminals reduce electrical resistance and increase connection stability, withstanding against vibration and ultimately to ensure a current supply to the tool.
The BL1850B can be charged at any time, has no memory effect and no discharging is required.
The Li-ion range is both lightweight and shock absorbing. It can deliver up to 430 per cent more working capacity during its lifetime, compared to Ni-Cad, and is 40 per cent lighter than Ni-MH. The Li-ion battery has minimal depletion of power during use or in storage over its lifetime.

Makita DC18RD 14.4V to 18V Li-ion LXT Twin Port Charger
The DC18RD Twin Port Charger is a two port charger, capable of charging two Makita 14.4V or 18V Li-ion LXT slide type batteries at the same time. The DC18RD can also charge Ni-MH batteries with an optional adapter (not included).
The DC18RD features a fully charged sound alert, LED charging display, electronic current limiter for overload protection and forced air cooling system. The cooling fan keeps the battery temperature lower for minimum charging time.
The DC18RD will charge 14.4V and 18V Li-ion LXT slide type batteries; 3.0 Ah in 22 minutes, 4.0 Ah in 36 minutes, 5.0 Ah in 45 minutes and 6.0 Ah in 55 minutes.
The DC18RD Twin Port Charger is not compatible with G-Series batteries.
Please Note: The USB port has been eliminated with the intention that DC18RD Twin Port Fast Chargers are not restricted from EU ERP Directive. Consequently, in compliance with Standards.
