Works well and easy to use.It works well and is easy to use. There is only one fault and that is the stop button is far to easy to knock off, and is very dangerous especially for children touching it.

Nice looking tool but beware the safety swicthProduct arrived packaged in small box with the smaller blade fitted. The tool was already charged (as others have mentioned) and it is easy to start the tool by mistake without always pressing the safety button. This is a bit of a concern when switching blades as you need to be very careful not to tough the trigger.However, blades can be changed easily enough and a quick trial of both appeared to do the job they were bought for (shaping and trimming of small bushes / plants). The grass trimming blade worked well on a small patch of grass difficult to get to with the mower. Providing one is sensible and takes care with the operation and uses on smaller plants (per the exepcation) then it appears to meet the brief.Have yet to try the charger or learn how long the charge lasts for but initial review is positive with the caveat of the safety switch.

Lightweight trimmersVery easy to use. Won’t tackle heavy duty hedge trimming but excellent for smalm hedges and Bush trimming

Pretty good.Got fed up with strimmers to trim my lawn edges, they just kept breaking the line cord. Have had 2 and both were the same, chucked them away. Tried this for trimming the edges and it works fine. Lawn is about 20′ square with 2 square flower beds to trim round. Just put my cheapo knee pads on and it takes about 10 minutes. Have only used it twice so far, still plenty of charge left. I do not need the hedge trimmer so can’t comment on that. One point to mention is the instructions say it will take 1.5 hrs to fully charge from a flat battery, it had some charge in it out of the box but put it on charge but it took 3 hrs before the red charging light went out.

Great little toolsThese are great little tools….I do not have much strength in my arms and hands so these are perfect for me to do jobs around the garden….lightweight and easy to handle …and able to get into difficult areas….and the charge is plenty for those little jobs….am very happy with them

Very handy, in more ways than one.After my normal sized hedge trimmer broke, I went for a smaller, more mobile hand-held and bought this Ligo. When it arrives you are sceptical about the claims for it, but do not be fooled by appearance! It is a very capable trimmer of hedges and grass [with the attachment], avoiding the thicker branches and the battery seems to have a longer life than I expected. It is light and has a safety switch – I would recommend it to anyone with a smaller garden and issues with size and weight of standard trimmers [and those with cords]. A very good purchase!

GutlessThe ‘hedge’ trimmer is absolutely gutless….everything I have tried to use it for jams it up, so I have stopped using it. The grass trimmer, however is quite useful for trimming awkward edges because it is a lot less violent than a strimmer (but you look a bit of a sissy using it)
