RubbishComplete waste of money, machine has had five outings and has a 100% failure rate thus far, the electronic ignition I paid extra for isn’t powerful enough to turn the machine over, it goes ok with bigger stuff upto 3” but with smaller stuff it blocks every 5 minutes and is incredibly difficult to unblock. One of the exit chute clips has sheered off, one of the rubber feet have split and fallen off. I dread it coming out of the garage now cus it is guaranteed to make me swear, a lot.

GeneralThe product works well, however, it could be better, for example, easier access to the cutting blades. When they get jammed. The ignition control panel was only kept in place by the cables attached to it, I had to fit it myself, and it does not work correctly, so I now have a replacement, yet to be fitted.

Sub standard product, avoidThis is advertised as a heavy duty wood chipper! I bought one and used it once, I had nothing but problems with it, it kept cutting out and clogging up, I didn’t even push it very hard. I returned the chipper within 30 days and they are refusing to refund me! Avoid at all costs!!

Excellent productExcellent product, well made and designed. Put together on my own in 30 mins. Destroys anything I asked it to in seconds (and some of that was 70mm thick).

It’s okay!I bought from Hyundai Power. i really needed this machine to work 100%, but it’s not quite there for me. Machine is good value for money but clogs too easily to get a full 5 stars. There’s not enough throw from the drum to clear the exit spout when a heavy / dense wood is used. Also very thin branches such as Willow off shoots don’t chip and just block the exit shoot, meaning anything chipping won’t clear until you unblock. To clear out the blockage, you have to undo the 10 or so bolts of both the hopper and exit shoot – which is a PITA. The first 30 mins of running and I spent 20 mins unblocking. Works best with long, freshly cut soft wood at around 1 to 2 inch in dia, which it just munches through in no time. Sticks smaller in dia just seem to bounce round in the hopper. I tried a 2.5 in conifer branch and it stalled the machine a few times before in finally went through. I will keep playing and update the review if I can get it to work any better. Tech support at Hyundai Power UK has been good so far. They have requested a video of the blocking which I will do over the weekend.

Avoid. Save yourself the hassleThis product is faulty. It clogs every 5′. Looks like factory defect – there’s too much space between the blades so it clogs up instead of cutting.I got a refund from Hyundai and bought the Forest Master chipper, which works a dream.

AvoidI agree with the previous two reviews. This shredder is not fit for purpose. Within the first five minutes of shredding, it had clogged up and seemed incapable of expelling the chips. Removing the inlet and outlet chutes requires ten bolts to be undone. Once everything clear it immediately clogged up again. Have returned machine and am awaiting a refund.

Not Fit ForPurposeI bought one of these from an online retailer. It took about 4 weeks to arrive, and then a machine arrived direct from a Hyundai Agent. However, I am convinced it was an older version of the model I ordered. Basically it isn’t fit for purpose. It blocked up twice in about 40 mins, then required to be stripped down to clear it. The battery won’t charge. The electric start only works occasionally. Avoid at all costs.
