Lightweight electric chainsaw from Hyundai. Powered by a 2400W / 2.4kW motor, it is the ideal chainsaw for day-to-day woodcutting tasks including felling medium-sized trees and cutting dense logs.
Automatic speed control- The more load that is applied the higher the speed of the cutting chain motor will be, to improve cutting performance. The chainsaw will automatically speed up when a heavier load is applied. So manual adjusting the speed is not required or available for the user.

Amazing tool with only one issue.Powerfull motor, quick cuts, just perfect except one issue with chain lubrication. There is almost no oil sprayed on the chain and no adjustment available to improove it.

OK for small logs, for hardwood more than two inches in diameter I’d look elsewhere.First things first. I’m pretty sure there was something wrong with the unit I received, so bear that in mind. YMMV.When I received this I couldn’t get the sprocket to turn by hand at all, even though it indicates in the instructions that this should be possible, consequently I couldn’t easily turn the chain manually on the bar even when the chain was set to the correct tension as described in the manual. I reported this to Hyundai tech support and they said to go ahead using it anyway and come back to them if there was an issue actually chopping wood, so this is what I did.I really put this thing through its paces in the couple of days I had it. It was easy to assemble and the long lead was a real bonus. It coped with chopping smaller logs (less than about two inch diameter) fine but would really struggle when I started to get up to three or four inches, and when I say ‘struggle’ I mean smoking and a nasty smell of electrical burning! In the end I returned it, considering it either defective or not really really fit for purpose. I’m giving it three stars as it would have coped with smaller stuff OK and it was cheap.

Excellent customer service/supportI bought this chainsaw as it generally suited my needs (occasional logging, stove firepit etc). The plusses were, lovely long power cable, 3 year warranty and relatively cheap replacement chains. However after about 4 months, I began experiencing, what I could only describe as “power fade” on the trigger resulting in slow rotation of chain around the bar, with the unit beginning to smoke from the ventilation vents on the motor housing !Having contacted the vendor, this is where things began to look a little brighter, having received my email regarding this issue, I have to say they were magnificent. They organised collection at the earliest opportunity, advising me of their procedure along the way, and completely honouring the warranty, stating that an effective repair or replacement would follow.Within 10 days (it was over a Bank holiday) a brand new replacement arrived. VERY WELL DONE.I am now slightly concerned as to if I will suffer the same issues in another 4 months, we will wait and see.Product- 7/10 there are known names out there for the same kind of moneyVendor 10/10 Cannot fault at all, excellent service, prompt and efficient

Good saw and great service from the seller, Hyundai Power Products DirectThis was my second electric chainsaw and my first Hyundai. I wanted something fairly powerful with good safety features and a minimum 3 year warranty to tackle a large garden that had been neglected. Good points, a comprehensive instruction book (not just a downloadable PDF) with clear diagrams for both assembly, maintenance and use, a long power cable (abouit 40 feet), an easy to use lubrication system and more than adequate power. For the first few weeks everything went OK but I was aware that the saw did not seem to function exactly as described in the book and then the saw stopped working completely. I contacted the seller (Genpower/Hyundai Power Products Direct) and to be honest I expected I would have to jump through the hoops to get any help, but I was mistaken. They were prompt and efficient and once I described the problem arranged for the collection of the saw by DPD. I expected to have to wait for a lengthy asesment before it was repaired but again I was mistaken. A new saw was shipped out to me once the old one was received. At all times the customer service staff were efficient, courteous and straightforward. I am buying aan electric tiller in a few weeks and I’ll make sure it’s a Hyundai from this seller. I was very impressed with their whole customer service setup – and the saw too of course!

Leaky (but replaced with new)Ok to use but leaks chain oil when not in use. Also quite fiddly to install chain.Update: good customer services – chainsaw was replaced without much bother. Replacement seems to be leak free for now.
