Did a good jobArrived quickly, as described. On the whole it works well and is easy to use. As other reviewers mentioned it is a little difficult to assemble the grass box and even when you do it doesn’t really work so much better to use it without the box and use a lawn rake after scarifying.

Good productArrived in time and put it straight to work. I have to say assembly instructions could be better, I had to Google it to get the grass basket in place. Other than that good value for money, I have a big garden so scarifying by hand wasn’t an option. This made job very easy. Manual rake still needs to come out but for doing it once a year I’m not bothered.

Initial Review(collection box 👎🏼)Purchased this a couple of weeks ago and have only used the Scarifier so far, it does the job but only used the two highest settings which seems severe enough.The hardest part of the assembly is the collection box, instructions in general are pretty poor and the grass collection box part is the worse. I would like to add that the collection box is totally useless and not fit for purpose, you need either to rake it up or collect with a lawn mower which defeats the purpose of having one machine to do the job.

Ideal for small /medium lawnsExcellent value for money item. Very portable. Love the quick change cassette idea. My only niggle is the size of the grass box, bigger would be better, plus removing it a bit of a faff, especially if you have a bad back.

A great scarifier and aerator.I used this on my lawn which had long since succumbed to moss. So first I used Aftercut 4 in 1, which includes a moss killer, then a few weeks later I used this on the treated lawn. It removed two big wheelie bins of moss from the lawn! Unfortunately I will probably have to repeat this procedure several times to make a significant impact. However, I can’t fault this product at all currently, it is easy to assemble, easy to use, and does exactly what it claims to do. I have a high opinion of Hyundai Power Tools having had one of their Petrol self-propelled mowers for several years. I have had no issues whatsoever with that, and I am hopeful for similar reliability from this.

Powerful for its size,For a light piece of equipment it matches any domestic use in scarifying, the other fitting is of no use for aeration as it turns soil the same way, but it is powerful, needs to be used without the bag, and it’s a back to front assembly which will confuse you, but I’m a happy gardener, it worked.

Performance good, but quality issuesFairly easy to put together. Worst bit is trying to work out how the frame fits into the collection bag, but figured it out after a bit of trial and error. A diagram would be useful.The collection bag is a bit difficult to secure into to holding brackets of the machine – you need to force the machine flap up to its limit to get proper access and the collection bag frame feels a little flimsy.The raker performed well at raking up dead grass and moss etc, but as others have stated, not much of it is collected in the bag, most is dumped under the machine. Could be because the quantity was overwhelming as it was the first use of the year. Found it easier to not use the collection bag and rake up manually afterwards.After 30 minutes use, one of the front wheels fell off. Managed to fix it back on. Hopefully, it was due to the securing star washer either not being put on properly or put on the wrong way round. Time will tell if the problem has been fixed.Providing the wheel stays on I will be happy with the machine – it did do a good job of raking up and the lawns look better gor it.

Glad I bought!Contemplated hiring a scarifier to try to recover a moss-ridden front lawn. At less than 3 times the hire cost, I reckoned if this device lasted 3 uses i’d be quids in. With the rakes at their highest setting I filled a small trailer with moss. Lowered the height and filled another trailer. Found the fastest way to operate was to remove the collector bag and then collect the moss with the mower.As the lawn looked so much better already, I decided to leave the full scarification until the end of the season. So it has now been fertilised with a Weed and Feed prroduct.Will add a ‘before and after’ video at some stage. Very pleased with the product. Sturdy and well worth the money!
