Bargain little mowerMy trust Mountfield petrol mower died and it was terminal. Bless it.Anyway… I wanted an electric replacement because of the cost of petrol and oil.Had a look at the usual suspects at B&Q but nothing really impressed me. And the wife has a blue Hyundai car so I thought it would be semi amusing to buy a blue Hyundai mower.Unboxing and assembly was slightly tricky – instructions written and drawn by someone who has never put something together before again.Once out together, I took it out for a “spin”. It’s super light – you can carry it on to the lawn (whereas the petrol one needed a ramp). The cutting width is slightly less than my old petrol mower but that makes it manoeuvrable and easy to use. Cable kept getting on the way but I’m yet to use an electrical garden tool where that’s not the case.Does a canny job of cutting the grass and lets you do those nice football stripes. Well as best you can on my awful lawn.Genuinely, this is a cracking little tool. Buy with confidence.

Designed for lawnmowingThis simple, but good looking, mower was designed to mow lawns, not to cut grass. It is an ecellent mower for the price, easy to handle and will mow an even lawn beautifully. The cord is a good length and will reach most of a small lawn, but will also mow well if used with an extension lead. It was not designed to cut coarser grass and when used on coarse grass will not pich up the cuttings as well as on even lawns. The mulching plug works well and is a welcome feature on a smaller mower.

A cut above the restNever been disappointed with any of the Hyundai products that I have purchased. This mower is exactly what we required, lightweight with three easy to adjust cut heights. All the grass cuttings go into the box so no having to brush up afterwards.There is a mulch attachment should you require it and the stripe finish is a bonus, well done Hyundai yet another excellent item produced.

Works well, but not too effective if grass is very longOverall really liked the product. I was afraid setting it up would be hard, but its actually quite easy especially with the videos and instructions clearly laying out steps. I found it easy to use as well and it looks nice, arrived promptly as promised, with good packaging, clear instructions.Only con observed – I was delayed by about 6 weeks cutting my lawn and it had grown, well a little wild. I noticed that this lawn mower struggled to cut through the heavy lawn bits and also ended up throwing around 50% of the grass back to the ground rather than in the collector box. It would also suddenty stop as if giving up. I reviewed the setup, made sure it was stuck, the mulching plug was removed etc. but clearly it looked like the product struggles with managing too much of grass.

First rate Lawnmower easy to use and mulching and more…Really easy to assemble, very light, easy to change the cut height, mulching option and huge grassbox. Very quiet and powerful motor and easy-to-use hand controls. It’s a great all-rounder and with a 3-year warranty, you can’t go wrong!
