Great set of budget spannersThese did the job I bought them for perfectly. I haven’t had chance to use heavily but I’m very pleased for the price. Large set of different main sizes.

Decent qualityBought due to requiring the cranked head for access and did the job perfectly. Not sure on durability as new but they will be more than adequate for the home maintenance tasks on my Land Rover.

Poor finish, but OK for average home use. Not automotive.If you need to use these occasionally for hard to reach bolts domestically these will probably be value for money, but I wouldn’t rely on them for anything else. I bought these because I needed a cheap offset set for working on the car but I really don’t think these are suitable for that.The finish quality on them is very poor, they aren’t smooth, they feel quite blotchy and the teeth seem unrefined, more so on the smaller ones. I’ve compared these to a cheap set i got from aldi (left). You can see the teeth are well defined and sharper whereas the hilka ones have more rounded teeth and wider gaps between so I’m not sure these have great contact, especially on stubborn or rusted car bolts as I Tried these on a shock tower bolt and it kept slipping. I hoped a British tool company would be better than all the other Chinese off brand stuff, doesn’t seem the case here but sometimes you get what you pay for and I’m definitely not a tool snob!

Cheap but functionalVery cheap looking product and wouldn’t expect a long hard life from these especially for automotive use but ok for the occasional job.
