Don’t bother?These tap and dies are worse than poor I needed to cut one hole it was cheap to buy this set rather than one tap on its own, I now know why they couldn’t put a thread in butter. So I got the single named tap, job done.

Good Value ToolAt the price this is a great buy for thread cleaning etc. I haven’t used it to cut new threads so cannot comment on its robustness.

Expect to get what you pay for.The set is a good basic starter set. Works as expected.The only critisum is that the case has no clips holding the smaller taps in place. As the case is large and very flexible, as soon as you pick it up by the handle, even when closed, some of the taps just slide out of their slots and rattle around.
