Lightweight but strongCompared to other similar stilson wrenches in its category this is half the overall weight of steel ones. It’s aluminium construction makes this a robust tool that is light weight. It’s teeth are sharp and hardened to allow a superb grip to pipe. It’s length allows it to fit into my Dewalt shoulder tool bag. It feels like a quality item and just works better that steel ones as your not handling a heavy tool with this aluminium version.

For the price it’s greatI’m a full time plumber. When I saw this I was skeptical, but I wanted an offset, aluminum pipe wrench. This won’t replace a ridgid, but it will do for when an offset is needed. It bites into galvanized well enough to unthread old pipe from fittings. The over all construction of the handle and Jaws seem OK. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks now so it’s hard to really tell. The adjustment wheel has this super flimsy, cheap bracket surrounding it. I think it’s the only thing holding it into place. I doubt this wrench will last a year of occasional use on the job site, but if it does I’ll report back.If you’re a DIYer this wrench will serve you well. It’s more than enough for around the house stuff. For the pros, I’d just spend the extra money and get a ridgid.
