Great saw, looks very well built and has a nice comfortable grip. Cuts really well.Everything you want in a saw this product, and all at a great price. It’s got a nice comfortable grip made of a material that isn’t going to slip in your hand after a while of cutting. The blade itself is made of some real solid metal as you can see that straight away after you take it out of the sleeve.I’ve used it for the first time earlier today and I couldn’t believe how effortless it cut a plank of 2 x 4 inch wood. I then cut some wider plywood which wasn’t as thick but a lot wider than the 2 x 4 wood, and I couldn’t believe how smoothly it moved back and forth without sticking like most saws do.I think it’s the teeth on these that make it work so well and the reason why I went for this saw. Rather than two cutting surfaces on the teeth like on a normal V shaped tooth, the teeth on these are cut off at an angle so at the bottom you get an additional small but really useful cutting surface, giving it the 3rd surface and that seems to make all the difference. At the price it’s at you are getting and absolute bargain and it cuts like a much more expensive saw.

Good productThis is a good product that performed its function as expected on its first use, sawing a few branches from a bush. Later it was very effective in cutting down some small fir trees. It seems to be quite sharp, but I don’t know if this is because it is new or not.I was also happy with the packaging. It arrived in a cardboard box wide enough for the saw, deeper than needed, but packed with lots of brown crumpled paper as padding. There was a slight delay in delivery, but this was well signalled with emails and I was quite happy about it.I selected this product by a sponsored link that was flagged with Amazon’s choice. Was I being lazy? I knew what I wanted but was not sure how to describe it and what terms to use in a search. There was a picture of what I wanted, described as a hand saw.

A Good Garden SawJust been using to cut main trunks of a (i think) a heavy old Laurel hedge. Perhaps not as good as the slightly smaller Spear and Jackson similarity but pretty close. Much better than a Bow Saw as smaller TPI and needs a lot less space etc.

Great value!Good quality, cuts well.

A great saw for garden branchesJust be aware that the teeth on the saw are quite large, and therefore it’s more of a “get this branch off quick” saw than a “what a neat and narrow cut for carpentry” saw.
