Excellent mowerI purchased this mower in April during an Amazon Warehouse promotion. It was described as “used – very good”. When the large box arrived there was no damage to the box itself. On opening the box the mower itself was in pristine condition, and had obviously never been used. The two sections of the grass box were still in their clear plastic bags, and again were brand new. The instructions, and warranty card were all present. However, when I came to assemble the mower, I realised that the fixing kit for the handle was missing. I contacted Amazon via their online chat, and the assistant was very helpful. He said I could either return the mower, or have a partial refund. As the mower appeared otherwise perfect (and I had got it for a good deal), I opted for a partial refund. I used this to buy the fixing kit from Amazon. This arrived quickly, and I was then able to assemble the handle. What I hadn’t realised at the time, was that the handle off the grass box, and the plastic “lip” were also missing.Despite searching online, I have failed to locate a handle for the grassbox, so have managed to attach it by just holding the box on either side, and sliding it into position. This does make things a little awkward.Aside from this, the mower itself performs very well. It is lightweight and easy to handle. The blade setting is easy to adjust, and it performs much better than my previous Bosch mower. The fact that parts were missing does not detract from the fact I am very pleased with this mower. When I first contacted Amazon, they were quick to help, so I cannot fault their Customer Service.I would definitely recommend this mower.

Bought to replace and old cylinder mowerThe first season I used this my lawn looked better than it had for some time.I dont know why but this year it is not looking so good, the grass looks what I can only describe as twisted as thought the mower is making a small crop type circle before it cuts the grass off.The design of the operating pull switch is not the best in its placement, it is awkward to keep pulled into the handle and can result in soreness of the area of the hand between thumb and fingers as this area of the hand has to grip the handle.Removal of the grassbox has also not been thought through, left hand through the handle to remove it from the mower and then drop the box and reach under the handle to take it away from the mower.Emptying the grass box is not simple, you have to rotate it through many angles to get the contents to fall out and then before refitting it to the mower you have to clear the grass off the chute the grassbox sits on.The grove below the grassbox flap also fills up with debris as does the indentation in the top of the mower below the main carry handle. All in all not a bad mower but some design features are poor and have not been thought through.I expected better from this manufacturer, it’s not as though they have just entered the grass cutting market.

Well worth the money!**UPDATED 23/05/21** Please see bottom of text. After using a very cheap and old qualcast ‘hover mower’ on our lawn last year I decided it needed replacing as it was awful! This was shortlisted against the easi store Flymo but decided this was the best option due to alot of the reviews for other Flymo suggesting it had a massive issue with it changing deck height by itself. After reading the reviews for this I took a gamble and ordered one. The reviews made me think it would be flimsy with a fiddly grassbox but I don’t agree! The assembly was easy, the instructions aren’t amazing as it’s a few small diagrams but it’s quite intuitive and most of it is common sense! The grassbox just needs the clips lining up and a few calculated smacks to drive them home.I’m 5’11 and used the higher of two options when assembling the hand bars. After using it on it’s trial run I can confirm it’s a really comfortable position for those who are a bit taller/more lanky but has the option of dropping the bars an inch or so if you are of the shorter variety. For circa £110 my expectations were low but I’m really impressed! Yes it’s plastic, and it’s not massively heavy but it does a good job and the lead is long enough for most gardens, I had to add an extension lead to do ours as the grass spans approx 18metres.It did the first cut this year since October last year and it was a breeze. My lawn is about 50% moss but despite this it cut it well, however I did notice that anything above the shortest setting didn’t seem to do anything so I went around on the shortest setting straight away, I will update the review in the summer once the grass thickens out and update you all on whether the higher height settings do anything.I was really impressed by the flat edges of the deck to allow you to get close to borders etc, it made my life 10X easier as I didn’t have to fanny around with a strimmer! The clear panel on the top also made a big difference when it came to seeing how full the grassbox is, I’m glad I went with this model. The mower comes with one year warrantee but you can register it with Flymo online for an extra years warrantee with plenty of parts also available in the event you need a new blade or anything.Overall for the price I’m really happy so fingers crossed it lasts :)23/05/21***Since my last update I’ve been able to use it to mow our lawn many times, overall my thoughts still remain the same for the most part, my only updated thoughts are:- Despite the grass now growing quickly and a weekly trim being required, anything but the lowest setting doesn’t take enough off to warrant a mow!- If your lawn has dips/drops or anything that isn’t a flat bowling green it doesn’t have a good time! Because of the wheels it means that it won’t get low enough trim dips in the grass and where there are slight raised areas it will scalp them!- even though it has the edging feature built in meaning its flat edge can get close to things, I’m still needing to go round my decking and lawn edges with the strimmer, it’s just not as much work.Overall I don’t think this really changes my thoughts on it as the lawn levels not being perfect isn’t the mowers fault. This mower is still very reasonably priced and is still a joy to use!

Excellent value for money.Easy to put together, lightweight and great for large lawns. Good value for money.

Decent mower let down by cable!Pros:-Lighweight and easy to manouvreCopes with long grass pretty wellCons:-This machine has the most tangle-prone power cable I’ve ever come across. Even when it’s stored carefully away after use, it still manages to twist itself into an unfeasibly convoluted mess every single time. I’m tempted to set up a trail cam in my shed to see if it’s haunted. After one season the mower started to cut out intermittently. I have to hold the cable in a certain way to keep this from happening. I suspect it’s because the constant tangling has damaged the wire core inside the cable.

Works fineThe one we got was a heavily discounted “acceptable” condition used offer, which came missing one nut for the handle, totally fine considering the discount. It is effective, powerful, and lightweight. The one gripe I have is with the handle on the hopper, which is loose and pops out far too easily to be usable; but that could also be part of the reason we got this for cheap, and it’s a very small inconvenience.

Great little mowerGreat little mower, coped well with long grass. Pretty easy to assemble. Only downside was the collection box, kept coming apart and a bit fiddly to put on but it worked well once you got used to it. Definitely better than a hover mower

It is the final cut of the year……and ‘Old Faithful’ decides to call it a day, halfway through the back lawn and fails to be persuaded otherwise! So, as the lawn looks rather silly half done, a new lawnmower was deemed an ‘essential purchase’ and the relevant shops are closed…so over to Amazon! This new one was here the very next day, despite these current troubled times.ooOoo~ FLYMO® MODEL with VISION WINDOW~ SPEEDI-MO~ 360VC~ ELECTRIC ROTARY LAWN MOWERCABLE LENGTH: around 12 M5 x CUTTING HEIGHTS: WIDTH 36 cm40L GRASS COLLECTOR BOXGUARANTEE: 1 year, extended by a year online, with the option to purchase a third year.ooOooIt arrived simply in the branded cardboard box, measuring around 70 cm x 46 cm x 37 cm, so no additional packaging to dismantle & recycle.Following the instructions, I found it easy to assemble the main mower unit, as it simply needs the 2-piece handle attaching by the screws/wingnuts provided and the power cable attaching via cable clips. The grass collector box, however, is in 4 pieces that need self-assembly and it is fiddly to put together, especially attaching the top cover, but once assembled it has proven sturdier than first impression. It is proving very light in operation and easily manoeuvrable, taking little effort to push along. The 36 cm blade is slightly larger than my previous one and that has made a difference in the amount of time taken to complete. In terms of the cut, I prefer level 2 of the 5 available, one shorter than the recommended level 3 middle cut. Anything above this leaves the grass too long, in my experience, although level 5 has proved useful for collecting and shredding the autumn leave drop.It is easy to see when it is time to empty the collector box on this version with the vision window.Conveniently, the handle can be folded for storage if required as per the current stock image above, by loosening the 2 sets of handle wing nuts.So far, so good…will update if anything changes.EDIT: 😊4 cuts now done due to the mild weather so far and very happy with this. The only thing is the wheel tracks that are noticeable for a day or so, especially if not dead straight![14 images attached]

Nothing to dislikeI needed a mower for the autumn to cut my sloping front lawn that gets muddy with worm casts and the heavy motor mower turns it into a mud patch. I previosly tried a Flymo hover mower but as the grass box filled up the cut height reduced and the lawn still turned to mud in places. I purchased the Flymo Speedi-Mo 360C with limited expectations but it is excellent. Powerful, very lightweight and therefore easy to manouvre. Handles a wet lawn with worm casts very well without leaving a muddy mess. Cuts well and the cut height adjustment is straight forward. As for durabilty that is yet to be tested but I am hopeful it will hold up for a few years.
