battery better than petrolThe system is a little heavy, but not as heavy as my petrol version. The dual batteries give me about 25-45 minutes continual use depending on the attachment. love it.No carburetor issues that come with petrol.

Great piece of kitTotally recommend this, much better than the petrol kit I had previously.I’d advise getting another set of batteries if it takes more than 30 mins for your project. Or, have a few beers while charging the batteries.

First class piece of solid euipmentThis set arrived and while they dont include a battery my family had some so I borrowed those older batteries to use with it.In the set you really have a multi tool for your garden a strimmer, hedge trimmer, chainsaw and is heavy duty. Ideal for my father in law who does this daily. Its a heavy duty piece of equipment, in that light it works very well and we were able to trim all the trees in his large property.Its a good investment for those that do more heavy duty gardening regularly and far more effective than petrol or mains devices.

Great 4-in-1 Multifunctional Garden Tool From EinhellI have a fair few items in the garden shed and 95% of the garden power tools are now cordless. The Multifunctional Garden Tool is substantial it feels strong and sturdy and looks built to last. It is just as good as the other well branded power tools. The only let down is that at the current price it should have had a set of batteries. No matter I ordered 2 batteries https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M3SPEZF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 and they work a treat, so all-in it cost an extra £100. With the dual batteries it has more than enough power to handle a majority of garden tasks. The strimmer and bush cutter, can easily clear over grown grass and bramble with ease. The chainsaw is powerful and comes with an Oregon chain and has a decent speed, it can handle 4-5cm branches with ease. The hedge trimmer is nice and can cu hedges nicely.The actual power of the tool is great and I am pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting much, but it does give you the power to handle allot of garden tasks with relative ease. It feels strong and my only concern is will the batteries last. As the LION batteries are not cheap at £50 a pop. As I don’t have other Einhell tools, this means the batteries are only good for the 4-in-1. However, from using the Einhell I may as well buy other products within this range.Happy with the tool itself, yes you need to buy two batteries separately, it would have been nice to have the batteries in the package. At the current price it is fine as it does have good power for gardening tasks. Overall, I am impressed with the Einhell 4-in-1 Multifunctional Garden Tool.

The flat pack of the mechanical world – Batteries not includedThis is a nice piece of kit, however before you can do anything you are going to have to purchase the batteries. These cost around £50 to £100 depending on the charge power (voltage) and the fact you are going to need two batteries to operate everything. Now I’m used to toys coming without batteries, it’s the norm, but when you are paying over £200 its quite a strange phenomenon. Yes, I was aware at the time that there was no battery included, but still…Once you’ve purchased your batteries you are then going to have to build everything up as this comes flat packed. Again, just why??? When you looking at chain saws and such I honestly feel that it should come ready for use, when it comes to something that can chop a limb off like a knife through butter its concerning to find you need to put it together a bit like a toy puzzle.The machinery once you’ve bought your batteries, put every piece together is good, very handy for cutting large hedging, no more need for ladders. Value for money, given you have to by the batteries and make everything up, I’m not so sure.I’ve rated the battery life at one star, it’s hard to rate something that was never provided, a bit cheeky to ask for it to be rated really when you aren’t providing it.At over £200 for this kit, I’m thinking it would have been easier and more cost-effective to purchase this kit individually, that included batteries, not sold them separate. My new lawn mower came with two batteries included in the price and all I had to do was clip on the handles and away I went, it was also much cheaper, work like a dream too. And that is what I expected here.

IF YOU TRY TO CONNECT THE HEDGE TRIMMER TO JUST THE ONE POLE – TO MAKE IT LESS CUMBERSOME, OR TO TRIM A SHRUB – YOU CAN’T AS THERE IS NO WAY THAT YOU CAN SCREW THE HEAD OF THE HEDGE TRIMMER TO THE FIRST POLE. WHY NOT !? THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO VERY SIMPLE TO DO. IF YOU WANT TO TRIM THAT ORNATE SHRUB THEN YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO TRIM IT FROM 2M ( 6’7” ) AWAY WITH A CUMBERSOME LUMP THAT DOESN’T LEND ITSELF TO THE MORE INTRICATE NATURE OF YOUR SHRUB. WHEN I DECIDED TO CUT AN 8FEET ( 2.438 M ) TALL HEDGEROW DOWN TO AROUND 5 – 6 FEET ( 1.524M – 1.829M ) IT WAS BAD ENOUGH, WITH THE TWO LENGTHS IN PLACE – WHICH SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM – IT NEVER HAS BEEN WITH MY VONHAUS MULTI-TOOL WHICH IS CAPABLE OF DOING EVERYTHING THAT THIS IS AND IS 100% LESS UNCOMFORTABLE. ALSO A BETTER PRICE – IT WAS VERY MUCH A TRIM THEN PLONK DUE TO THE LACK OF COMFORT. I GOT IT DOWN TO ABOUT 6 FEET, SO I NATURALLY DIDN’T NEED THE SECOND POLE. I TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET THE HEDGE TRIMMER TO SIT ON THE ONE POLE ALL TO NO AVAIL. THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS KEPT CROPPING UP WITH THE DIFFERENT TOOLS SO THIS 36V. EINHELL GE-LM 36 WILL GET USED BUT NOT AS MUCH AS MY VONHAUS MULTI-TOOL WHICH IS STILL AS GOOD AS NEW AFTER A YEARS USE AND WHICH IS TRULY ADJUSTABLE/COMFORTABLE.. THE TELEVISION ADVERTISEMENT IS A FLASH, THIS IS THE TOOL YOU ALL CANNOT BE WITHOUT. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEOPLE PURCHASING NAMED BRAND FOOTWEAR BECAUSE THAT FOOTWEAR IS COMFORTABLE, AND A BRAND THAT CAN AFFORD AN ADVERTISEMENT BUT DOESN’T HAVE A NAME. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THIS OVERPRICED MULTI-TOOL FALLS INTO THE LATTER CATEGORY.
