Great piece of kitGreat little tool, use it all the time.Not using the manual loppers anymore.This is lightweight and so easy to use, has all the safety features you would expect.One piece of advice, buy a spare chain, very easy to change. I think because of the speed of the cutting the chain looses its sharpness quicker than it’s petrol counterparts.

Decent Chainsaw for small jobs at HomeThis is the 1st time had used a chainsaw, so I checked the unit for quality, it was well packaged and sturdy. Easy to build (max 30mins) just take a little more time and make sure you install the chain correctly. I charged up my 5ah 18v battery and it lasted around 60 minutes max, I was cutting down some fur trees and logs and it did cut fine.. The chainsaw did get stuck, but there was no kickback. .I would definitely purchase a helmet and visor plus gloves…My verdict is, if you want to use this for a short period of time, this will do the job and was value for money. I would purchase a petrol chainsaw if you want to use for an afternoon without having to wait for the battery to charge.One small gripeWas surprised no chainsaw oil included at enough to fill the tank 1st time so don’t forget to purchase and no small funnel.I have added some pictures so you can see the circumference of the trees that I tackled.

Lightweight easy to use chainsaw from reliable maker.I already have a number of Einhelll (and compatible Owzito) items so did not need a battery or charger. I purchased an Amazon warehouse ‘used’ chainsaw which was very competitively priced. It was not in original packaging but was otherwise complete and unused, the only issue was lack of English language instructions which could be a problem with an item like this. In practice an English manual was easy to find on the internet.Putting the chainsaw together is very straightforward, takes about 10 minutes and is similar to others I have used. It is important to follow manufacturers guidance on oil and chain tension.The chainsaw is easy to handle and works as expected. When it is switched on the chain takes a short time to get to speed but I have found it is powerful enough to take on the tasks I have presented it with around my garden, for example a section of old leylandii hedge that was getting out of hand was no match for it at all. I had always avoided buying a chainsaw because I assumed, they had to large heavy and petrol powered. The Einhell GE-LC 18/25 Li Power X-Change 18V Cordless Chainsaw is lightweight easy to handle and strong. I should have bought one years ago.

Brilliantly mobileI love this, the versatility of having a relatively quiet tool that will do the odd jobs requiring this level of muscle. My only negative is that oil from the chain drips out, so it has to sit on successive bits of cardboard in the car boot

Must have tool for the gardenIt does what they advertise, lightweight and has the power of a mains 240 volt saw. The interchangeable batteries means it fits with the stable of other tools in their inventory that I own. All Einhell tools that I own work for their living and this chainsaw is a much-loved tool and pleased I went and bought it. Highly recommend this and the maker it was delivered on time and with no damage from courier.

Great for branches, power failureI’ve had so much fun using this! Great on small logs and branches, nothing bigger than 20cm – really struggles on anything bigger and the frustratingly short battery life gets even shorter the bigger the cut you attempt. Still, I can get 3 barrow loads on one charge – maybe 30 minutes worth, and very little physical effort.4 months on… about to get my 2nd replacement saw from amazon, both the previous 2 suffered complete power failure, maybe a switch issue, who knows? I’m sticking with this model as I have bought 2 batteries!

Great little chain saw …I often read reviews before purchasing something like this chain saw. I am especially interested in the negative reviews. Well, I find myself not completely understanding the negative reviews. This is a brilliant little saw. I bought a slightly larger battery and was able to cut all the wood I needed to while pruning a large tree. Take a break and put the battery on charge while having lunch. Very very pleased. If there was an improvement I suppose I would suggest a second battery but that’s a minor point – the saw was excellent.
