Good sawChain sprocket small, clutch does not always engage, chain kept jumping off the bar, till I realised that the chain had A kink in it and ruined the tip of the blade, I changed the blade and chain and now works well. The saw itself runs well, but had to renew blade and chain. Bought this saw as it was cheap, I am 75 yo and worked with chain saws for more years than I can remember, wanted it to slice up some logs, it does the job.

It works as advertised.Actually a great chainsaw. It starts easily and can be stopped / started multiple times with no issues. Just spent the afternoon cutting up tree branches up to about 5 inches diameter and the saw performed flawlessly. Happy with my purchase so far. If anyone is having problems starting or re-starting it…..try reading the instructions.

Brilliant chainsaw for my needs – once I got the replacement! (Amazon initially obstructive)Update:When I got past Amazon’s gatekeeping & in touch with the seller, they couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging a replacement, which has worked very well for the intervening 2 years. It’s obviously at the budget end of the market which suits me. But following the recent gales, for example, it has cut away and cleared around 30 fallen pine & larch that have obstructed a local footpath.Excellent value for money. Almost always starts first pull when warm, second or third from cold.Only 4 stars because of the initial problem. If I’d had the second saw the first time, I’d have been giving it 5+ stars.Nice, lightweight, very effective at light timber work. Good bite… just what I need for my large rural garden But…Only for two days.On the second day I used the saw the starter cord jammed, and as a result the saw cannot be used. Despite my rights under the 2015 Consumer Rights Act, Amazon have refused my refund request, denied my appeal, and I spent around an hour on the phone today trying to get this overturned.Come on, Amazon! The latest agent I spoke to has lodged another appeal on my behalf and I have emailed the below pictures of the cord to the address he sent me, so I’m hoping it will eventually work out.Hopefully.

Order one, it’s great!!Firstly, I will say that I have worked in the forestry industry for over 30 years.I have been professionally repairing saws!!This little saw does everything you would expect, and for me very easy to start.10 presses of the primer, choke out fired 2nd pull, choke off and 3rd pull of you go.Many people complaining about starting problems, and difficult to assemble..For those people, do not buy a Husqvarna or Stihl… Because it is exactly the same putting the bar and chain on the Einhell, and starting is exactly the same as any of the professional saws. With any saw, prime if it has a primer, but choke out pull till it fires then choke in and it will start next pull. For many of the reviewers who can’t start a saw…. Well that’s probably a good thing for your own safety!!!

Great little machineThe issue with 2 stroke is that if youre not using consistently they can have problems starting.well ive tried all the main brands apart from the expensive ones, after all I only use every now & again. so should be fine.No.But this is the only budget machine that actually works as it should. It starts & goes spot on. Im happy, but actually all thats happened is ive got what I paid for. Strange world, because im very happy that that’s the case, because it so often isnt.

Great saw! Couldn’t ask for more for sub £100Great little saw for the price, the chain it comes with is decent although i changed to an Oregon one just for peace of mind as i only really trust Oregon/Stihl chains. The saw is great for firewood and general logging/felling as its much lighter to carry around all day than my bigger saws. It makes light work of trees up to 12” and o have no doubt it would do a 20” tree going in from each side. It doesnt get bogged down, just have to let the chain go through at its own pace and don’t push it, it will do an 8” log in around 8-9 seconds which is great for the price! The only downside is the weight, its a bit heavy for areal work using one hand all day but two handed stuff is fine.Great saw would certainly recommend… i have also just changed over all of my power tools to einhell gear too!

Waste of time and moneyWell if you can get it started you might be able to cut something for all of 2 min before it cuts off
