Very good as a gift for young ladsPerfect as a gift couldn’t ask for a letter price aswell

Allen keys, or cat whiskers??Generally quite good. Solid tools, sturdy case, reassuringly heavy. But the smallest couple of tools are hair-thin. I can’t think of any use-case where I’d ever need such a thing and even if I did, it would just bend before tightening anything.

Case poor qualityLooks good and was good for two times then the hinge on the Imperial Hexagon side broke. Very poor quality of the inside of the case. The keys are fine.

Hefty box with every size you need – and probably some you don’t!I’m a keen DIYer and also don’t mind getting my hands dirty fixing my own car whenever possible so I’ve built up an eclectic collection of Allen keys over the years. I purchased this Draper set as I was fed up with my random collection laying about haphazardly in my toolbox.I have a number of Draper tools and I generally find them to be good value and quality so had no hesitation in buying this set. When it arrived my first impression was that it was much larger than I expected – I was expecting a box about the size of a set of drill bits but the actual size is about that of a medium paperback book. See my photos with rule.It comes packaged in one of those near impossible to open clear plastic moulded clamshells that you have to cut open. I’ve taken a star away for this because it’s extremely wasteful. The keys themselves are held in a very sturdy plastic box that has internal slots for each key. The keys are held in place by a black plastic cover that you unclip and fold back to access the keys. The box has a semi-circle of plastic on the back that you can twist around so that you can hang the box on a nail if you want. See photo. The box appears to contain every size of key that you’d ever need (up to 10mm and 3/8″) but personally I doubt if you’d ever have need for some of the tiny ones; also, the tiny ones are so thin you’d almost certainly bend or twist them during use. Still, you never know…Quality wise the steel of the keys seems to be as good as any other keys I’ve collected over the years and the edges of the ends are very slightly chamfered to make it easier to insert them.Overall I am pleased with the set and it’ll certainly mean that I can now have a tidier toolbox by having every key I need easily to hand.Hope this review was of help to you. Thanks.

Good set of Allen keys, worth paying a little extra.A good set with every size you’ll need.

All sizes covered but too bendyI suppose it is only to be expected that really thin metal is going to be bendy, so I have made a bit of a nerdy newbie observation. Then again, I am a bit of a newbie nerd!Imperial sizes on one side and metrics in the other, and putting the right ones back in the correct position is a bit tricky and they do not always stay in the same position. The bits are well protected with protective oil which is a good thing for longevity and value for money but it is a bit smelly and sticky on the fingers, so care must be taken to not transfer some to unwanted areas where it will mark.Clearly, I am not well suited to even small DIY activities.

Excellent hex keys, case is poor qualityCase arrived damaged, hex keys also bent and damaged.Tried to contact seller however I could not without returning the whole product (not worth it as most of the hex keys are fine).

Made of chocolate standard draperDraper used to be a decent brand.. Now they seem to be worse than the likes of rolson..I’ve used this set a few times, if the bolt isn’t tight it works a treat. If the bolt is tight the Allen key simply turns to chocolate..A good variety of Allen keys but not for heavy duty work
