Bosch cordless grass strimmer 18 voltHad a corded Bosch lightweight grass trimmer and it is brilliant, but was getting fed up with the cable and plugging in , this strimmer was on offer with Amazon for £95, with one 18 volt battery and charger, absolutely brilliant, it’s light and does a great job with the attached plant guard. The battery life is great and it now sits in the boot of my car, was at my brothers grave today and was able to trim the grass around the stone, also , the height of it means you can stand more upright, saves the back ! can’t recommend this strimmer highly enough

OK for very light dutyExtremely easy to assembled (takes approx 30 seconds) nice and light weight, but the cord is pretty weak and only suitable for light strimming.Extending the cord is a little inconsistent aswell, but not necessarily a deal breaker.Don’t buy expecting this to be your do it all Strimmer.

Not fit for purposeI would assume most people using a strimmer would be tackling longer grass, scrub etc. It means this strimmer is not fit for purpose. It’ll cut through the most delicate of grass and weeds – like you’d use a mower for – but anything slightly denser the flimsy reel provided will just snap off.It’s also fairly short so for anyone relatively tall (I’m 5’10”) it’s not tall enough.A shame because I’ve had an older Bosch model that’s only on its way out after 15 years! But these newer ones are just awful.

Light weight, easy to use and the battery lasts very well.While this strimmer is a little smaller and less powerful than my old mains operated one, it does the job and is much more convenient to use.
