Good do edgesI originally brought this grass trimmer to cut around the edges of my grass where the machine doesnāt cut. Packaging is absolutely amazing whilst also getting a 3 year manufacturers guarantee. Has a long wire meaning there is no need for a extension cord .The only thing I dislike about this product is that it may be heavy to hold if using for a long time.

Decent enough for light work. Genuine 4 star review.Good cutting thin grass, although the line snapped like 5 times during 1 session of grass cutting but thatās because I hit some thicker weeds.I tried using a 2.5mm line like another reviewer mentioned but what absolute garbage advice. The diameter of the hole in the strimmer where you insert the strimmer line is fit for the 1.5mm only, which means the 2.5mm isnāt sitting in the housing at all and itās a faff. Unless you plan on tampering and voiding your warranty just stick to the 1.5mm line thatās supplied. So many people bodging this strimmer to make it more so-called versatile are only going to void the 3 year warranty thatās supplied. If you want a strimmer thatās going to do a neat job of your grass edges and tight spaces on your lawn then this fits the bill. Donāt go tackling anything bigger than that unless you fancy changing the strimmer line everytime you clip something. For the price and guarantee you canāt go wrong, but just be careful what youāre putting it through before you start your cuts.

A handy little Strimmer after making a few adjustmentsI was recently in the market for a cheap budget strimmer to trim the edges of the grass when I came across this one, after reading through some of the initial reviews I nearly did not buy it. However thanks to the user who said about replacing the cord, for 20 odd quid I thought it was worth a punt. I didn’t fancy drilling it out so replaced the standard cord with a Oregon Round Heavy-Duty Trimmer Line, Orange, 2.4mm x 15m. Wow what an improvement it has made! I left the standard cord in at first and like everyone said it kept breaking every two seconds. But with the thicker cord you have a much better machine, I only use it for trimming the edges of the lawn but it works a treat for me. The strimmer itself seems pretty light and is straight forward to use. If you don’t mind replacing the cord and only have a small area to strim I highly recommend this.

Functional.Very poor instructions could be better. Took me some time to understand how it goes together.Having said the above the strimmer works ok.

I struggle with the cable feedI have had this strimmer for 6 months now and held off reviewing just in case I was missing something. I have bought may bosch products in the past and I always find them great value and they usually work very well. This is great value – no doubt, It was easy to assemble (it comes in a small box and fits together very cleverly) but I just don’t get on with the cable feed. It is not an automatic feed – you trigger it by pressing the power button on and off. I just can’ get it right, I often end up having to refeed as the cable worn right down, and having to switch the power on and off makes the whole process very stop start. It is very light 0 and I do like that – I chose a cable powered strimmer as I find battery powered strimmer to heavy for prolonged use.
