How good the the item is.Replaced my previous one. Thought it would be lighter but not much difference in weight. Having said that have always found Black & Decker to be good.

Very light but doesn’t feel weak.Only having a short length of hedge to cut I didn’t want to pay much for a new hedge trimmer so I bought this from the Amazon warehouse – a big chunk off for damaged packaging, a scratch that I can’t find and it’s never been used.Keeping the cable away from the cutting area is the biggest problem I encountered while using this.It has a very sharp blade (I hadn’t noticed how blunt my old H/T had become as this cut like a hot knife through butter).I used it for 1/2 an hour and due to the low vibration and lightness of the machine it didn’t make my arms and back ache unlike petrol and the heavier battery powered trimmers. In short I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Great Hedge TrimmerTrimmer made light work of trimming the various hedges (Boxus and Privet) I have in my garden. Neat tidy trimming. Would recommend this trimmer.

ImpressedI have two hedges, back and front of the house, both about 5mt long by 3mt tall. They are if beech trees and have brunches also of about an inch thick on the edges and top. This trimmer goes through it quite easily, obviously on the thicker brunches you must let it work at its own pace. It’s light and easy to use and feels safe too.I was impressed by it, especially for the price paid.Recommend it.

light weight and does the job easilyeasy to use and does a good job
Mr. E. Wilson –
Very light and easy to useJust received today, 17 Apr 22 and have already used it to hack my neighbours hedge which had become so overgrown on my side. Setting up out of the box is simple. Just undo a screw, insert the hand guard and tighten the screw again and you’re ready to go. It was light enough for me to hold and cut the entire hedge without resting and the actual cutting worked well even slicing through the thicker stalks without much effort. It does have some sort of blade protector when storing, but it’s just a thin piece of flexible plastic which will split along the sides in no time. Anyway, it’s a good machine and a good brand and the price doesn’t exactly break the bank even though you can buy other ‘never heard of’ makes cheaper.

Well pleased with this purchaseBought to supplement my heavy duty long reach trimmer which is quite cumbersome for smaller jobs. This trimmer is lightweight and powerful enough for my needs and in my opinion is very good value.

LightweightLightweight and easy to use and definitely powerful enough for the average sized gardens bushes and hedges.
Mr. Jason Emanuel –

Good budget strimmerEasier than using shears but not sure how long it stays sharp. Of course the brand new blades cut like expected, clean and no effort even through pencil size branches. Time will tell if this is a good purchase. The click fit safety guard was useless and not required. Probably a legal requirement but it does nothing. Just wear eye protection. Needs two hands to operate ( safety feature) so no injuries possibleJust watch the cable at all times. If you need to use step ladder I would go for battery type as cable is long and easily becomes a hazard
