particularly engineer’s tools like adjustable wrenches (but if you are looking at multi-tools …Purchased to replace a saw that must be over thirty years old and has finally given up the ghost, this is going straight into the toolbox.Over the years I’ve found Bahco products to be affordable, durable and out-perform most ‘own brand’ or ‘no brand’ equivalents at similar price-points, particularly engineer’s tools like adjustable wrenches (but if you are looking at multi-tools be warned: they are more than a tad agricultural).

A very handy sawI needed a hand saw for general DIY. After Googling for reviews I found quite a number of positive comments from professional carpenters and joiners about the Bahco 244P (244+) Barracuda saw, so I bought this 22-inch model. The blade of this model is just over 1mm thick, 25% thicker than the standard model, reducing the tendency for the blade to flex while sawing. I’ve used it a number of times and it cuts with ease!

Worth the moneyThis saw is a bit more expensive than others but still miles cheaper than RRP, very sharp teeth and solid blade that doesn’t bend as easy as others.10/10

Cuts like a dreamThese barracuda blades are excellent for cutting sleepers. Miles better than the bendy Irwin saws that constantly lock up the slightly thicker blade really helps prevent this. Also worth looking at the ergo handle systems they sell as the barracuda blades for those are even better.
