Microsoft have announced that the new Surface Pro 6 will be available from the 16th October 2018. With just days left to wait, is it worth the upgrade from the previous generation(s) of Surface Pros?


There seems to be quite a significant number of changes with the new Microsoft Surface Pro 6 compared to the Surface Pro 5, with Microsoft confirming that it is the most powerful Surface Pro to date. But how much more powerful is it?

Having been upgraded with the latest 8th generation Intel® Quad Core™ processor, it’s quoted to be more than 67% faster than the previous Surface Pro 5. That’s a huge difference, with the speed increase being noticeably quicker.

Now I know what your thinking, and I had the same worries too. Surely all this extra power must have an adverse effect on the battery life right? According to Microsoft, the battery life lasts up to 13.5 hours.
